KiraKira Artistry は、2012年に日本の京都で、費用が高額なために着物の着付けから撮影までを含む総合的な体験ができない大学生のために始められたボランティア活動です。2024年12月に開始する予定のKiraKira Artistry は、海外在住の日本国籍者と日本にルーツを持つ個人で、重要な節目のイベントを着物で祝う機会を持てない人への推薦を、個人や慈善団体から受け付け始めます。私たちの目標は、着物文化へのアクセスを増やし、成人の日や七五三などの伝統的な行事への参加を促進することで、着物文化をさらに広めることです。毎年、推薦された2人には、ヘアメイク、着物レンタル、着付け、撮影、レタッチ、プライベートオンラインギャラリー、および10枚の高解像度デジタルファイルが含まれた撮影に必要なすべてが含まれたパッケージが提供されます。また、選ばれた人には、追加の写真や家族向けの着物レンタル・着付けサービス、写真商品を特別料金で提供します。

We'll begin by setting up a consultation to explore your vision and choose the ideal kimono for your session. Together, we'll design a fully personalized package and select the perfect location for your session. We handle every detail, ensuring your experience is enjoyable and completely stress-free. Kyami is a certified kimono dresser and instructor with nearly 15 years of experience, so you can rest easy in your decisions.

01. Before Your Shoot

get the details

We'll begin the day with styling (+/- hair and makeup) near your selected location. From there, we’ll dive into your photo session, where I’ll be by your side to capture each moment and guide you throughout, ensuring you're photographed in your best light! Our retouching process means you can rest easy, even with young children who haven't worn kimono before! No matter what happens during the course of your shoot we aim to ensure your hair, makeup and kimono will be picture perfect in your photos.

02. The Day Of

Following your shoot, we'll return to home base where you can unwind, select your favorite images for purchase and retouching and view our product line. We offer a beautiful range of heirloom print products, crafted by our favorite artisans to help your memories last forever. Within two weeks, you'll receive your finished gallery! Your print products will arrive in 2-4 weeks.

03. After Your Shoot

The Day Of

We offer a beautiful range of heirloom print products, crafted by our favorite artisans! Within two weeks you will receive your retouched photos in a private online gallery and your products in approximately three.
