Hi, I’m kyami!
I’m Kyami, a passionate portrait photographer, licensed kimono stylist, seamstress, HMUA and tsumami zaiku artist based in New Jersey whose photography and retouching style plays on the edge of whimsy.
My portrait experiences are my canvas, where I bring all of the skills I’ve cultivated over the years to create something magical and personalized for each client
Even it’s your first time being photographed or you’re feeling a little nervous, just remember: Your job is simply to be present. It’s my job to bring out your sparkle!

"KiraKira" (キラキラ), which means "sparkling" in Japanese traces back to our beginning in Kyoto, Japan. It reflects the bright, joyful spirit that inspires our colorful aesthetic.

Delivery
After your final invoice is paid, you can expect to receive your digital images in a private online gallery within 2 weeks. While product production times may vary, please allow 3-4 weeks to receive any print products.
ORDERING APPOINTMENT
Directly after your session we'll take some time to unwind before selecting your favorite images for retouching and purchase. This is also a great opportunity to select and design any albums, boxes or wall art!
This is the extra fun part! We'll begin with some pampering in hair, makeup and wardrobe. During your 2-hour session, we'll guide you through posing; ensuring you feel comfortable in front of the lens. This is a time to enjoy and be in the moment while we create something amazing together!
YOUR SESSION
This is the fun part! Once you're booked, we'll let you know how to prepare for your session and nail down every detail of your look and vision; including choosing a location to match. Our goal is for you come to us feeling confident and excited about your photoshoot!

If you're interested in a session, book your zoom call with Kyami! We'll discuss the vision for your shoot and how to make it happen! We'll also review our packages and offerings in detail. This will be followed by a contract and invoice to secure the date.
